As a peer fitness trainer, this is the program that I developed for my fellow firefighters I serve alongside with.  This program utilizes movements and modalities that we use on the fireground.  It's a practical program that, when followed, can get your body and mind programmed to perform.


Elements include:

  • Active Warm-ups
  • Core training
  • Strength Training
  • Cardio/Endurance
  • High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
  • Recovery


This program was specifically built for firefighters, but anyone could benefit from this structured program!  This is a GREAT primer for those looking to obtain a career in the fire service as the movements incorporated are required for the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT).
